Opal Creek

One of the most visually stunning sections of forest on the west side of the Oregon Cascades, Opal Creek was once slated to be logged in the 1980's. This area is now the largest uncut watershed in the entire state, home to crystalline blue water, dozens of waterfalls, and trees that are 500-1000 years old.
